Do you work in a nursing home or assisted living facility in New York State? We are looking for the right people to teach the Project Firstline NY Escape Room Experience in their long-term care facility.  Whether you’re a seasoned educator or new to the field, Project Firstline NY offers a refreshing and impactful way to learn, connect, and contribute to the ongoing fight to improve infection control and prevention.

Program Details

The Train the Trainer program will equip you to teach the Escape Room material within your facility. Learn to train staff, assess competency, and provide ongoing support. Trainers will be part of an elite group of competent instructors who contribute to the ongoing fight to improve infection control and prevention. As a trainer, you will:

  • Complete the Project Firstline NY Train the Trainer program
  • Demonstrate skills in training, facilitation, and engagement of adult learners
  • Be a champion of the Escape Room Experience and promote of important elements of infection control and prevention
  • Act as a resource and provide follow-up support to Escape Room participants and staff
  • Collect required data from Escape Room participants and report to Project Firstline NY

The Escape Room Experience

Trainers will bring the exciting Escape Room Experience to their facility. You will lead participants in a dynamic escape room scenario where they team up with the superhero Captain Germ-B-Gone to thwart the villain Clutterbug, who aims to spread germs and chaos. Teams of five to six must solve puzzles and navigate challenges within 30 minutes, all while learning vital infection control techniques.
